Tired of hearing about corruption and incompetence in  City government, Eban started attending meetings, asking questions to protect his family and his neighbors. As a single father of three girls: and one boy, (Talitha, Alicia, Allahnah, and Wisdom Morales), family is deeply important to him.
      One day a friend joked that his concern for the community, fit his last name, Morales, (Spanish for morals) and that he should  be a public servant. In 2017, Eban was elected to the Highland Park School Board. Last year, he became Vice President of his block club.
     This year, after neighbors requested  he give them a voice in the city, Eban decided to run for Highland Park City Council- District 1.
